Privacy Policy for DialogFlow Integration
Effective Date: October 21, 2024
This Privacy Policy explains how Whapi.Cloud handles data in relation to the integration with Google DialogFlow. This integration allows our users to create NLP bots using our WhatsApp API and DialogFlow via Google applications. Since DialogFlow is a Google service, certain Google user data is accessed in order to provide this integration.
1. What Google User Data Is Accessed
Whapi.Cloud accesses the following Google user data through the requested scopes:
- - Scope: openid – We use this to associate your Google account with your personal information, such as your Google profile ID and email address. This is necessary for verifying your account and linking it to the DialogFlow integration in Whapi.Cloud.
- - Scope: .../auth/dialogflow – This scope allows Whapi.Cloud to view, manage, and query your DialogFlow agents. We access your agent data (including intents, contexts, and training phrases) to ensure the proper functioning of your NLP bot within our WhatsApp API integration.
2. How We Use Google User Data
Whapi.Cloud uses the accessed Google user data to facilitate the functioning of your NLP bot through DialogFlow. Specifically, we use agent data to enable the creation, modification, and operation of your bot. Your Google Account email address is used solely for account verification purposes.
3. Data Storage
Whapi.Cloud does not store any of the Google user data accessed through DialogFlow. All data related to DialogFlow agents and Google account information is processed in real-time and is not retained on our servers. We act only as a gateway, passing data between your Google account and our platform without retaining it.
4. Data Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure
Whapi.Cloud does not share, transfer, or disclose any Google user data to third parties. The data accessed through the Google DialogFlow integration is used exclusively for the functioning of the integration and remains private to the user. We do not sell, rent, or disclose any user data to external organizations.
5. Third-Party Services
Since the Google DialogFlow API is operated by Google, your use of the integration is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. Whapi.Cloud acts as an intermediary and does not control how Google processes or stores your data.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to ensure that your data remains secure during transmission through our platform. Since no Google user data is stored by Whapi.Cloud, there is no risk of data retention or unauthorized access on our end.
7. Your Rights and Control
You retain full control over your DialogFlow agents and associated data. Since we do not store any data, there is no personal data available for retrieval, correction, or deletion on our servers. All contact management and agent data is handled directly through your Google DialogFlow account.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or Google’s API services. Any updates will be posted on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
